Aqua II, Waves of Sage - Nona Schrader

Saving pure water with birds, Greek gods, and winged horses. College student Diana Carter returns to the family ranch in Wyoming, now secure in her role as Diana of The Wind Rivers. She knows that, as a child of the prophecy, she is destined to work with the Greek gods and goddesses to save pure water on the planet. Poseidon sends a pair of flying horses, while Persephone gives birth to twins, Kya and Spruce. As Diana begins to discover her full powers, Kya and Spruce grow into their own. Indigo, a Mountain Bluebird, struggles to help while at the same time raising hatchlings with her mate. The companions travel to Pando, one of the oldest living organisms on the planet; they search for an indigenous ancestor on Squaretop Mountain; and seek the secrets of the elk in Wyoming's high-altitude Red Desert.
